Each piece carries one finish, not both. The passport on a product page shows only that piece's colourway.

Luxury makes promises. We publish numbers.
Real 18K gold at 2.5 microns — the vermeil standard. Rhodium — the platinum-group finish used on fine white gold. Genuine 925 sterling silver under both. The same noble materials the great houses use, measured and published on every product page — without the four-figure price.
Real Aurilyn pieces — the same mirror finish shown on every product page
Fine, or disposable. We chose a third path.
Aurilyn started with a simple frustration: too much jewellery is either genuinely fine and priced out of reach, or affordable and secretly disposable — thin plating that fades in a season, mystery metals that irritate skin.
We chose a third path. Every Aurilyn piece is built on genuine 925 sterling silver. Our gold pieces are plated in real 18K gold at 2.5 microns — five times the ordinary plating minimum, so the colour stays. Our pearls are genuine freshwater pearls, each one naturally formed and slightly its own. Everything is hypoallergenic and nickel-free, designed in Australia for daily wear.
And we wrote it all down — base metal, finish, thickness in microns, skin safety — on every product page, before you buy. Because a piece should be judged by what it's made of, not by the name on the box.
One silver base. Two noble finishes.
Every Aurilyn piece starts the same way: genuine 925 sterling silver, stamped S925. Not brass, not a mystery alloy — the same base the vermeil standard demands. What changes is the finish you choose.
Our gold jewellery is real 18K gold, plated at 2.5 microns — five times the thickness of ordinary "gold plated", and the level required to legally be called vermeil. It's the difference between gold that fades in months and gold that stays gold.
Our silver-colour jewellery is finished in rhodium at 0.5 microns — a platinum-group metal rarer than gold, the same finish used on fine white gold. It's why the piece resists tarnish and stays mirror-white instead of dulling in a drawer.
Where a piece carries a pearl, it is a genuine freshwater pearl — naturally formed, so no two are exactly alike. Accent stones are cubic zirconia, and we call them that — brilliance, honestly labelled.
That is what luxury means to us — not a velvet room or a famous box, but noble metals, honestly measured. Neither finish is visible to the eye. Both are stated, in microns, on every product page — because the number you can't see is the one that decides how long the piece lasts.
The Aurilyn Passport
Other luxury brands have spent the last few years attaching digital passports to their pieces — records of what a thing is made from and proof that it's genuine. Several of the largest houses founded a consortium to build the standard, and European regulation will make passports mandatory across categories.
All of it is aimed at four-figure objects. We think a person spending $113 deserves the same answer to the same question.
So every Aurilyn product page carries a Materials Passport: base metal, finish and its thickness, stones, skin safety, and the standard it's tested against. No app, no scanning, no wallet. Open any product and it's already there.
A Materials Passport, as it appears on every Aurilyn product page.
