Being straight with you
The gold version is plated, not solid gold. A 2.5 μm layer is around five times what fast fashion uses and it is why we warrant it for twelve months — but plating is a finish with a life, not a permanent state. Worn daily for years it will eventually thin at the points that rub.
The stones are white topaz, black spinel or zircon depending on the variant. They are real gemstones. They are not diamonds and we will not call them diamond substitutes to make them sound like something they are not.
